David Mickenberg

Since 2006 he has been deeply involved in the advocacy around every meaningful drug policy reform effort in Vermont, including leading the efforts to pass multiple cannabis reforms culminating in Vermont becoming the first state in the country to legalize cannabis through its legislature.

In addition to his work on cannabis policy he has been deeply engaged in other major progressive state and national campaigns that have resulted in numerous progressive policy changes on a local state and national level.

He is an expert in cannabis policy in Vermont including legal and regulatory compliance, and he collaborates with policymakers, and industry leaders to promote informed decision-making and ethical practices in the cannabis space.
