Driven by her belief and personal experience with the many healing aspects of cannabis, Melissa transitioned her expertise into Vermont’s emerging cannabis industry when recreational use was legalized in the fall of 2022. She dove into the field by working in a dispensary as a cannabis guide, where she witnessed people of all ages and backgrounds find relief from conditions such as chronic pain, mood regulation, energy support, sleep, anxiety, depression, and PTSD. Melissa has kept her role as a part-time budtender to stay current with industry trends, and do her part to help educate consumers. Melissa became a Certified Ganjier in August 2023, and loves working with people who are new to cannabis! She offers one-on-one guidance services that are tailored to each of her clients’ needs and desires.

Melissa is not just leading a cannabis wellness company—she is spearheading a movement. As the CEO of Mechayeh, Melissa is redefining what it means to heal, innovate, and collaborate in the cannabis industry. With over a decade of experience in the field of addiction recovery and a deeply personal journey of transformation, she is on a mission to break stigmas, build community, and harness the power of cannabis for doing good in the world.
